Object: The object of the game is to finish the game with the highest credit score and most money, while navigating through life's twists and turns, and avoiding foreclosure.

The unique feature of ForeclosureOpoly is that there are 18 Trivia spaces on the board. If you land on a Trivia Space you must answer a trivia question on such subjects as homeownership, saving, good credit practices, mortgages and credit scores. When you answer the trivia questions correctly, your credit score increases and you earn cash. Challenge your knowledge. When you answer the trivia questions incorrectly, your credit score drops and you must pay a penalty to the bank. If you don't have enough money to pay your yearly mortgage payment (anytime you pass Home) YOU LAND IN FORECLOSURE. That's when staying in the game really gets tough! Only the smart, savvy and educated can stay out of foreclosure...or GET OUT OF FORECLOSURE! ForeclosureOpoly is a great learning tool to manage through real life events, buy a house and STAY OUT OF FORECLOSURE. Play ForeclosureOpoly often and achieve the American Dream!

Setting Up the Game: Place the game board in the center of the players. Each player selects a pawn to represent him or herself when driving around the board. Select a Banker from one of the players. Select a Life Coach from one of the players. The Banker distributes one (1) House, a Bank Statement-Credit Score Sheet, and $25,000 to each player (the first year's salary). The Life Coach holds the Trivia Cards and places the Trivia Cards face down. Each player places his house within the Suburbia neighborhood. Next, each player will throw the dice and advance around the board. The player that finishes the game with the highest credit score and most cash, wins the game.

Home: Each Player starts from Home. When a Player advances around the board and lands on or passes Home, it represents one year of life and they collect one year's salary, and must pay the Bank a yearly mortgage payment.

Advancing Around the Board: Each Player takes turns throwing the dice, and advances to a space containing a life event or consequence, based upon the total indicated by the dice. When landing on a space, the Player must follow the consequences, such as PAY A PENALTY, or RECEIVE a CASH BONUS or REWARD. In all cases, Penalties are paid to the Bank, and Bonus's and Rewards are received from the Bank.

Banker: The Banker can be one of the players or just act as Banker. If the Banker also is a player, then he or she must keep their money separate and keep track of their own Bank Statement-Credit Score Sheet.

Life Coach : The Life Coach holds the Trivia cards face down. When a player lands on a Trivia space, the Life Coach will select the next card on top of the deck, and read the Trivia question to the player. The Life Coach will read the correct answer and tell the player whether the answer is right or wrong, and advise the player of the cash reward or penalty (CV=Cash Value), or the credit score increase or decrease (CSV=Credit Score Value).

Throwing the dice: If a Player throws a double (example: two ones, two twos, two threes, etc), the player receives another turn. If a player throws a double a second time in sequence, the Player receives another turn. If a Player throws a double a third time in sequence, the Player loses the turn.

Houses: There are 3 types of houses: Starter House, City Condominium, and Luxury Mansion. Each house has a different value and annual mortgage cost, as follows:

Neighborhood Starter House Suburbia City Condominium Metropolis Luxury Mansion Utopia
Minimum Credit Score Needed: 680 740 800
